Hi, let me introduce myself!
My name is Tina and I am a chocoholic. I’m 25-year-old food lover from Slovenia. One of my accomplishments is raising the cutest and world’s friendliest chihuahua (you don’t find those very often) in the world.
Some of my hobbies include hanging out with my boyfriend, going for a
coffee tea with my best friends, eating good food, playing with makeup, baking, cooking, online shopping, traveling, planning travels and binge-watching youtube videos. There you go! Nice to meet you too 🙂
When you live a semi-active lifestyle you can’t eat unhealthy food, because your body starts to crave nutrients and foods to fuel and repair it. I’m a big youtube fan, subscribed to about a hundred channels, mostly beauty (yes, make-up is my ”guilty” pleasure), fitness and food. So naturally it was on youtube where I first discovered plant-based diet and lifestyle and it sucked me in real quick.
I then began to binge watch vegan cooking videos, mostly recipes and ”what I eat in a day” videos, I bought some very inspiring books about plant-based nutrition and health benefits around it. Then, as I learned about all the bad and harmful impact animal protein has on my body I decided to reduce my consumption of it. Very happy to find new interest and motivation, I started experimenting in the kitchen, cooking plant-based dinners, snacks, and desserts.
I am writing this blog to learn and discover easy and yummy ways to implement more plants in my diet. Swap some meals that we all love but are not good for us with vegan-friendly options and hopefully give you some inspiration to start implementing more plant-based meals in your everyday.
I promise it will make you feel good, it will give you a lot of energy and you will be proud knowing that you nourish your body the right way. It is about being healthy, making healthier choices in your daily routine.
